Gold is nice, but platinum is even better.
U-M’s Office of Campus Sustainability raised the NeuroNetwork for Emerging Therapies (lab for the ALS Center of Excellence) lab’s certification to platinum, the highest level offered for sustainable workplaces. This effort was led by the lab’s Green Team: Crystal Pacut, Claudia Figueroa-Romero, Ph.D., Jacquelin Kwentus and Diana Rigan. They had just received gold-level status in January.
The Sustainable Workplace Certification and Office of Campus Sustainability is part of the Planet Blue initiative, a university-wide initiative to promote sustainable operations and engagement.
